"28 Days..six hours..42 minutes...12 seconds" Donnie Darko

Problem...!
The band has split up, apparently over a week ago, so changed of plan basically we are all very stressed but have come to a conclusion, we thought to still use our specific codes and conventions for our music videos (performance, experimentation and narrative), so we have decided to use the bands lead singer and film him walking in a park singing. We have also kept the idea of using 'dancers' apart from the fact we have used one, the audience will then interpretate the story line of a 'love' scene.
With the solo artist singing whilst she is dancing to his music. We have also thought about the contrast of each half and came to a conclusion of him being more of a close up the occasional long shot and her more of a medium shot so you can her dance.
We wrote down specifically locations and ideal shots we may want to use, we then went away and both filmed each performer, we also took pictures to use for our ancillary task.

We have now changed all our ancilliary tasks such as; magazine advert, album design, and the logo. We have decided to keep the same branding image since we are using the lead singer as a solo artists with the same song. We also had to start filming again this time our location shot changed and we decided to film the music video within a park, Corporation Park Blackburn, we found it was close to college and easy to film there as it is a quiet park.
We also found it abit helpful how the lead singer knew the song words and we didnt need someone else to sing it for us. We also thought of the idea 'love scene' and thought it be ironic to film in a park.

These are the main park gates, as you can see the park is very clean and suitable for our location shot.
We however decided not to use these gates within the music video as it would advertise the park too much, so we filmed on the pathway.

Also when it came to our dancers learning the dance not all of them learnt it in time, so instead we decided to have just one girl dancing on her own, that way the narrative would flow more effectively. It would also look like James Keane was dreaming about the girl.
